Everyone is unique and different in their own way and have unique and different stressors in their lives. Stress in some fashion is usually the cause of overeating, cravings and lack of motivation to exercise which ultimately results in eventually becoming overweight or obese. Thoughts, emotions and behaviors must be healthy. One must be conscious of thoughts, emotions and behaviors that may cause stress and then deal with them accordingly. Without being conscious of these things, then no weight loss or long term weight management program will be successful.
